Species Information
General:
Perennial, tufted grass from short rhizomes; stems sometimes stoloniferous, (10) 20-80 cm tall.
Leaves:
Sheaths open; blades flat, rough short-hairy, 3-6 mm wide; ligules finely eroded, irregularly jagged, blunt, 1-3 mm long.

Habitat and Range
Moist meadows in the subalpine zone; rare in NE BC, known only from Beatton River and Pink Mountain; circumpolar, N to AK, YT and NT, and S to CO and UT; Eurasia, Greenland.Status Information
